Description

Alloy Revive Chrome Polishing Pads are pre-loaded pads for polishing chrome plating and stainless steel. Each white lidded tub contains 10 gray round pads, ready to use without pouring or measuring polish. Use one on exhaust tips or pipes, wheels, grille, or motorcycle pipes to work on oxidation and light surface scratches. Polish in a circular motion, then buff with a clean, dry cloth. Also used on chrome bumpers, RV trim, boat hardware, sinks, and faucets; test a hidden spot first. Results depend on the metal's condition. These pads are reusable: return a pad to the tub and use it again until the material wears out. They are not a fix for flaking or peeling plating, which needs professional attention.

Ready to use: no pouring, no measuring, no mess

No bottle or measuring

The polishing compound is already in the pad, so there is no bottle to pour or polish to measure. Grab a pad and work directly on the metal.

Before and after on a chrome exhaust tip

Polish, wipe, reveal

Work in a circular motion, then buff with a clean, dry cloth. The shine you get depends on the metal's condition and how far oxidation or scratching has gone.

Why a pre-loaded pad?

The compound is already in the pad, so there is nothing to pour, measure or load onto a rag. It is a quicker way to polish chrome and stainless steel that is dull from oxidation or light scratches.

Generic product types, not brands. Plating that is flaking or peeling needs a professional.

Frequently asked questions

Will it scratch the surface?

These pads are intended for chrome plating and stainless steel and are used to address oxidation and light surface scratches. Any polishing can affect a surface, especially if it has a coating or is already damaged. Test a small hidden area first, use gentle pressure, and stop if the finish changes.

What surfaces can I use it on?

The pads are made for chrome plating and stainless steel, including exhaust tips or pipes, wheels, grilles, and motorcycle pipes. They are also used on bumpers, RV trim, boat hardware, sinks, and faucets. Test a hidden spot first. Do not use on painted, anodized, clear-coated, plastic, or soft-metal parts unless tested.

Can it fix chrome that is peeling or pitted?

The pads work on oxidation and light surface scratches. They are not a repair for plating that is flaking or peeling; that needs professional attention. Results depend on how far gone the metal is. For pitting or deeper damage, have the surface assessed before deciding whether polishing is suitable.

How long does polishing take?

There is no fixed polishing time because the result depends on the surface condition and the amount of oxidation or light scratching. Work in a circular motion, check your progress, and buff with a clean, dry cloth. Stop when the finish looks right or if the surface changes unexpectedly.

How many times can I use each pad?

Each pad is reusable until its material wears out. The number of uses depends on the area and condition of the surfaces you polish, so no exact use count is specified. Return the pad to the tub after use and keep the lid on between uses.

Is it safe on stainless steel or aluminum?

The pads are made for stainless steel. Aluminum is not listed as a verified use, and soft-metal parts should not be used unless tested. Test a small hidden area first and stop if the finish changes. Do not use on painted, anodized, clear-coated, or plastic surfaces unless tested.

What are the shipping and return terms?

US orders ship for $4.90 on a single tub, and free on bundles (orders of $40 or more). Processing takes 1–3 business days, and delivery is estimated at 7–15 business days after processing. Returns are accepted within 30 days. Requirements for returned items, including unused or resealed condition, are.

How is this different from paste polish?

The polishing compound is already loaded into each pad, so there is no bottle or paste to pour or measure. Polish in a circular motion, then buff with a clean, dry cloth. Paste polish requires applying a separate product; the right option depends on your routine and the surface.
